Come with me, and I'll take you to a place,
A place of sunshine
  of laughter,
     of happiness.
Come with me, we'll go there, so we'll
never worry,
  never be angry,
     never cry.
We'll go, come on, I'm leaving now, to this wonderful place of serenity.
Of peace.
We'll go, and stay forever, and ever
and ever.
We'll smile at the sunshine,
  walk in the wind,
     laugh in the light.
Wait, aren't you going?
Come with me, please.
We must go, we must...
We have to go together,
We have to...
For what is happiness without friendship,
  A smile without laughter,
     Life without love...
Empty.
Come with me, and then we'll laugh
and dance forever... forever.
   Twirling in the breeze,
     Free of opression,
       of anger,
       of sadness,
       and of ourselves...

I thought I'd put this up here, but I guess not. This is another old one, about 7 or 8 years old or so now. Even then, I saw the appeal of escapism, of wanting to break free from everything. I think part of what I was trying to get at was that even when you want to leave everything behind, you still need someone with you to share your happiness with. I don't know. I think that's it anyway. Infer what you will.

J: Forever... forever without change is an eternity of torment and pain, but forever with friendship, and especially with love..   :blowkiss:

This poem's so old too, I wrote it in 9th grade, so that was... 1998-1999. I've been thinking about eternity for a long time.

J: About escapism too, it would seem. I think I may have you beat on both counts, though, as far as the length of time is concerned. Perhaps you were practicing for meeting us?

Aye, indeed. Yes, I do believe you do, lol. And I've always been obsessed with the infinity sign. I had a ring made specially in 6th grade with it on it, but it got squished :( And maybe indeed!

Hmm, this makes us want to have one made, or find one someday. I dunno if that'd be weird for you though, given that we'd want one of our own too. It'd be nice, though, and a fitting symbol of Us probably. :)
